This is the finest hotel I've ever stayed in in London. In a world of bland, anonymous, identikit business hotels, The Milestone is a world apart. It feels like the sort of glamour and opulence royalty would have enjoyed a century ago, all dark wood and plush fabrics; the building itself is a dream. I didn't get to enjoy much of it beyond my bedroom, but the bar and breakfast room looked lovely, and there's a small resistance swimming pool, sauna etc. in the basement which looked inviting. Well - the best hospitality and service- I ever experienced! I am a world mega-traveler for 25 years ! If You want 1st class quality and detailed hospitality- in london this is the place!

The decor, room size, cleanliness, service and the general are great. More in-room facilities to make your own coffee / tea could not hurt even a 5 star boutique hotel.

Great location, walking distance to South Kensington underground and near shops, museums and restaurants. Staff very friendly

Very often in the UK and always try to find such places to stay. This to try to get some of the home feeling in the British way. Not always succesful but this time I must say I got it right. Lovely room, small bathroom (but that is part of the package for these type of accomodations)confi sleep bed and pillows Super lovely breakfast. Caution if you will sleep with open windows you will be awaken by the birds:)

I went with my family for a couple of days in August. The welcome we got was warm and friendly from the first moment we arrived and the staff are really helpful throughout - particularly the Concierge who was happy to book restaurants for us. The location is great for tourists - just off Covent Garden and 5 minutes from Leicester Square. Rooms were modern and reasonable size for the location. The hotel exudes a really nice vibe and I would definitely stay again.
