"Excellent hotel"

"Having traveled to London many times since 1968, I’ve had the range of experiences. This stay, in this hotel, was certainly the best. To begin, we emailed back and forth with, Erik, the concierge to help coordinate this visit, and he was excellent in helping us make reservations. This was a visit to celebrate our granddaughters 16th birthday and we wanted everything to be perfect - and it was. The room was beautiful, the pool was something unexpected in central London, the location was perfect, and the English Breakfast was fantastic. So, look no further for a hotel for your next London visit. "

"On the whole I would say that our stay was definitely one of the best we've had in London. The location was absolutely perfect as we were coming to London for a theatre trip but coming through the doors of The Dilly and we were in an oasis of calm and comfort. The only issue we had was regarding payment where it wasn't properly communicated that the full amount was taken with pre-authorisatiion. I have no issue with this but the desk agent tried to take the payment 5 times and then saying that the payment had been declined. This was embarrassing and untrue as I had paid but further training on this matter would be a good idea. One of our highlights, aside from the breakfast which was insanely good, was the service and care we received from Marina and Edwin in the hotel bar when we stopped in for a nightcap. Marina couldn't have been any more friendly and professional and our drinks were unique and delicious and obviously made with knowledge and care, so thank you to Marina and Edwin for looking after us with such care. I also let the staff know that my husband was celebrating his birthday and the cake, balloons and prosecco in the room was a perfect touch and greatly appreciated Was definitely worth the money and we look forward to staying again "

"We had one left in AMS after a cruise. So, we decided to stay in central location. This hotel is next to DM Square. So, it’s an excellent location! The only complaint is that the front desk never informed us the room was ready even though we waiting in the lobby sitting right in front of them. Be sure to ask to be called or texted when your room is ready."

"Clean, modern hotel in walking distance of rail network and right in city centre. Excellent breakfast. Very comfy beds. . Negatives - no coffee in bar after 11 pm. No cocktails after 11pm. No plug socket near mirror in bedroom for using hairdryer. No cake/ snacks available in bar during the day. All negatives are only minor points though and so would definitely stay here again. Staff all very friendly . "
