"The hotel has a large car park. The rooms were clean and warm. The hotel was taylored more for eating. The meals were excellent and the bar closed early after meals were finished. There were no casual bar customers. Pleanty of bars close by. The area was very safe and comfortable to walk around at any time..Nice friendly staff."

"Stopped for 1 night at the Balmoral, while touring on my motorbike. Lovely single room. Excellent bar meal. Fantastic breakfast. Parked my motorcycle safety in the courtyard too ! Excellent value for money & will stop again. "

"We arrived very late in the evening about 9:30pm and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or more helpful. They recommended a local takeaway that delivered and allowed us to eat our food in the bar and have a drink. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back."
