"The room was a good size, modern and clean. Hotel is in a decent location, relevant to shops and restaurants etc. Comfy bed with a good shower, so ticks the main boxes for me. Is good fun having the race Mercedes test track out the front as well. Unfortunately the food here was a massive let down though, extortionately priced, and the burger I had was cold, bland and soggy with a charcoal bun. Found the staff to be a bit disorganised as well. Thought having to pay to park is a bit cheeky when...

"Very historic hotel with a gorgeous room with sitting area, 4 poster king bed, soaking tub, and right on High street for convenience to everything. We also loved the plush robes they provided. Bill’s restaurant downstairs has wonderful food. The club downstairs does have cabaret live shows so we were “serenaded” each night. They don’t play too late and it didn’t interrupt our sleep. I’d highly recommend staying here for a luxurious stay in Guildford. 5 stars. "

"It's clean and a good bargain if you are willing to be a little further away from central London. I booked a single, and the bed was much larger than a single (great!) but not quite as big as double. The room said it had a desk in it, but there isn't (just a note if anyone is expecting one to work on). The elevator rings/chimes quite loudly anytime anyone gets on/off on that floor which woke me up a few times, but other than that it was quiet. I slept very comfortably and had a perfectly...

"Very accommodating hotel. We were going racing at Sandown and parked at the hotel in the morning before we Checked in. Took a taxi, which they pre-booked for us, to the course. Only improvement I would suggest, minor thing, is the size of the shower head needs to be bigger."

"Booked as attending a wedding nearby that began at 11am and went until late at night. Staff were so accommodating; I was able to check in early which was really helpful. Room was clean and modern, bed was comfortable, shower pressure and temperature were great. I didn’t eat but breakfast looked nice. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area. "

"This hotel is a little gem with shuttle service (fee) to Gatwick airport. It is winthin walking distance to pubs and shopping. It has a little restaurant and bar on premisis. Our fourth stay and will be back"
