"The hotel was clean and reception staff very friendly. We were put into a very small room with a small double bed which has to be the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. The hotel was not full so I can't understand why we had such a grotty room, the window had broken glass and the room felt in need of a good overhaul. We put up with it as we were only staying one night, but I would not stay there again, which is a shame as it is well located in Southport. To add insult to injury, I was...

"Hotel is massively dated and the room was just poor , very old n stunk of damp. The bed was so old springs were sticking up , outside of the room the floors creaked so badly that every time someone walked past even quietly it made a racket.
