I really like the Motel Ones in Manchester. This is my second stay (first one was in Piccadilly). Nice clean comfortable modern rooms, very good value, and I like the bar.

Great and convenient place to stay in Manchester. I stayed for one night. Check in was easy and front desk person was very nice and helpful. Room was a good size but it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The toilet still had the toilet brush on the toilet seat and there were some small but noticeable dark (maybe coffee?) stains in the bathroom sink. Best part about the stay was the location as it was right in the center of Manchester. It was convenient to walk to shops and restaurants.

Clean and quiet hotel. Bed was comfortable. Didn't see a hairdryer but we didn't need one during our stay. Right in the middle of town and a close walk to shopping and food places. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff at front desk are very professional and lovely people. The entire hotel looks so expensive I couldn’t believe it was such a cheap price for how clean and well put together the hotel was. The room was spotless and smelt amazing also very comfortable beds and a very posh shower.

Check in wasn't v welcoming. Motel One need to sort out the awful, over-complicated thermostats. The room was too hot. On a short trip, I don't have to be checking with staff to ask for help with it. It's a hotel basic. And, it's 2024, not 1954, time to get rid of the awful sachets of terrible instant coffee.

Having stayed at another Motel One in Manchester I was expecting a high standard room, especially as it cost £150 for one night. A few details in the room really let it down; usb port not working so I couldn't charge my phone, wobbly shaving mirror and shower head. Paying full price for a room on a Saturday I was expecting a bit more luxury.

This is such a diamond hotel. It is very central. The staff are fantastic; really friendly, helpful and genuinely seem to care. The room is well equipped. Safe for your valuables. Comfy bed and good pillows, wonderful shower, hanging clothes spaces, nice toiletries, quiet, wifi tea and coffee. Everything you need to see the city of Manchester - we selected it due to its close proximity to the AO Arena … ammmazing - 6 min walk. Thank you everyone

Can not recommend highly enough. I booked two rooms for myself and a friend for a one night stay (monday evening). Central location. Perfect for our night out at the Arena, just a few minutes walk away. Welcoming atmosphere. Staff really helpful and friendly. Nice quiet bar area with wide range of drinks and excellent cocktails. Subtle background music. Great interiors with a nod to the city's industrial heritage. Rooms have all you need for a short stay. Clean bedding, towels, toiletries, kettle, hair dryer, tv. Continental breakfast - a really good selection - pastries, breads, meat cheese, juices, yoghurts, fruit, motivational eggs and more. Will definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend. Would definitely try other Motel-Ones in other cities

I NEVER write reviews but this hotel was wholly disappointing. Entrance is great, although they had naked flames (candles) unattended upon a table with a fluffy rug beneath… hardly safe next to the main doors with people’s suitcases knocking about. First red flag. Room was also SO underwhelming. Dirty white, pebbledash effect walls, barely any room to move, no proper area/table desk to put items and “get ready”. The tea/coffee station was literally next to my pillow (10-15cm away) so had to boil a kettle next to my face (??) The mattress was sunken on both sides so clearly never been flipped or was very old so made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Bathroom was modern ish and clean enough but again, very small. Overall, a claustrophobic grubby room and wholly disappointing and sadly not worth the price paid.
