"First visit to Club Del Carmen, we had a great time and would definitely return. 2 bed apartment was perfect, air con in both bedrooms and the lounge, comfy beds, clean and well stocked with everything you need. The complex feels safe with card access needed to enter. All the staff were very helpful, the sunbed booking system is perfect, saves those early morning starts to get something. We visited in the peak of summer (Aug) and had no problems with getting a decent bed. The pool and hot tub are great and the pool are was cleaned daily by the chap on the floor scrubber. My only slight criticism (more constructive for the complex than anything) is the cocktails and some of the drinks (sangria for example) could be improved from the onsite bar, we've stayed at other Hilton complexes and when the happy hour bell rings there's a dash to the bar, it wasn't so apparent here and I think if the drinks were improved slightly there would be more demand throughout the day (not just happy hours). The food and entertainment were great, we were able to watch the film one evening from our balcony and it was nice that they re-opened the pool till the film ended at about 11pm. Did we have a great holiday... Yes absolutely! Would we return... Yes without a doubt! PS save yourself some cash, the bus drops off and picks up right outside the complex and it's one 1.40 EUR per person per trip, the taxi from the airport cost us 17 EUR."

"Check in: very quick and easy. A free taxi was used to drive our bags to the block we were staying in which was very nice. We were able to pay for a safe at 2.50 a day+10 deposit. Pool: good size, clean. Only down side was the rules of no ball games or inflatables which I hadn't been aware of before booking. I liked the glass boundary all around, great for child safety. Snack bar: lovely pizza! Apartment: living room. No air con so when sleeping on the Murphy bed it was a bit warm (I used a freezer ice pack and that worked to keep me cool). Bed mattress very firm. You need to ask for extra pillows. Kitchen: perfect size with breakfast bar. Kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge with top compartment freezer. I don't remember a jug or veg peeler and could have done with a chopping board. No oven so can't do pizzas. Bathroom: storage unit very helpful. A few hooks around the walls would have been useful. Super shower. Always had plenty of towels. Bedroom: big wardrobe with hangers. Large shelf great for accessories. Air con worked well. Other: the sink u bend broke, just one of those things but it was fixed within 15 minutes of me ringing reception and then getting a maintenance guy out, and he mopped up. Couldn't fault that at all. Beach: we were in block 2 and were exceptionally close to the beach. This was almost deserted, very flat. No sunbeds to hire in the close vicinity but loads of space for games. Overall: I would return. Staff were very helpful."

"Room and hotel was clean, the all inclusive was basic, food lacked any quality. I'd rather pay more money and have better quality food. The pool bar you had to buy a plastic glass, and if you wanted a fresh pool towel had to pay two euro. However, for the money I would consider staying with the kids again. Just feel the property could do so much better with some investment in the upkeep of the hotel."

"The good: very clean (I am fussy and I was happy!) staff friendly & helpful - Aida is fabulous & without her the hotel would be a very different place, stacks of sunbeds, food varied & pretty good, comfortable beds, clean towels every day, pool view rooms convenient, 20 min walk to the airport ( fun to stand under a landing plane once in your life!) via Matagorda to the left, 20min walk to Puerto Del Carmen to the right, bus stops close, nice beach, accessible for the mobility compromised (not us but a good point to mention), chilled atmosphere, quiet at night. The not so good: no outside space to eat, relax, socialise & enjoy a drink, no net or mesh curtains on room doors so privacy very lacking - a big issue in ground floor rooms, rooms are small with limited space, no walk in shower, sunbeds crammed together & little room to move them to distance yourselves from others, hotel too small to have 'premium' and 'ordinary' level guests - felt devisive, on a hill so a lot windier all the time than down at the beach,. The bad: €18 EACH to keep your wristbands after 11am. on check out day. Shocking. Never had to pay anywhere in the world to keep a wristband and we have always been able to use facilities until we leave. Unacceptable so we chose not to pay. Premium guests (we weren't) would have to pay this too. €20 to keep your room for a late check out until 2pm. €40 to keep it until 5pm. Fair enough, you expect to pay something & we paid the €20 as it suited us."
