"Loved this hotel! Staff was very polite and helpful. We were able to check in a few hours earlier, which was a life saver after getting no rest during our travels. We had a beautiful view of the marines, hopefully the next time we can have a view of the bridge. This hotel is number one for convenience, it is within 15 mins of seeing all the main tourist site. Also there is an Uber taxi that is super quick, wish we had known about it sooner. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again. Thank you for making our stay comfortable. "

"Stayed here before an early morning flight. Although opposite the runway, you can’t hear a thing outside whilst in the hotel. Rooms are modern and easy to get to the airport from the bus stop situated directly outside the hotel, with them running from 3:30am till late."

"Had a really lovely stay at the Strand Palace. We recieved a free upgrade to a King size double room. The hotel was reasonably quiet and the food was great, a huge selection was available for breakfast. The only slight criticism is that the cold water tap in the ensuite bathroom kept running hot. Don't know what was wrong with the plumbing, but it wasn't very convenient to brushing your teeth!"

"Great hotel with modern comfortable and spacious room. Staff are welcoming and freindly however the restaraunt was extremely busy and it took ages for my order to be taken. Food arived quickly once ordered though but 2 of my choices were unavailable, which was surprising as it wasn't particularly late when I was eating."
