"Useful free bus shuttle to station. Staff very courteous. Handy for station but perhaps a little too far from downtown Kyoto. Didn’t use pool as there was a substantial charge per person per session. Would have expected guest use for free. "

"This hotel is huge, and a nightmare because of all the tourist groups and their million suitcases that crowd the lobby. There are warning about "congestion at breakfast", so i had my coffee somewhere else .. The location was not very convenient, it's only good if your train arrives on that side of the station. Otherwise it is a long long walk just to get to any bus or subway. The staff was incredibly helpful and did the best they could given the horrifying tour groups crowd. Rooms are small but ok. No public baths. It is a 3 star hotel, not 4"

"Hotel is excellent. They have a shuttle that runs on schedule to get you to Kyoto station and from Kyoto station back to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is a 10/10. Restaurant has a souvenir shop, bar, restaurant, gym, spa service. A definite stay if you’re looking to be in Kyoto and travel sometimes to Osaka. Price is decent too. Hotel staff are well trained and go over and beyond for hotel guests. Will definitely be coming back "
