"A lovely resort. Beautiful grounds and beach. An abundance of wildlife. Good food - I am vegetarian and I had no issues. Staff are great. The drinks seemed weak. Loved the lazy river. The rooms did the job, big and lots of storage. You won't be in room too much - it is so much better outside on the grounds. A special mention to Afred, our expedia conceriage. He was amazing, very knowledgable and helpful."

"Everything was amazing! No complaints! The swim up pool room was wonderful. Housekeeping came everyday to clean the room and came every night for turn down service. The staff on the entire property were so nice and accommodating. Our local host Josue checked in everyday to assist us with anything we needed like booking activities and dinner reservations. All of the food at the restaurants was very good! My husband and I enjoyed the couples massage at the spa as well! "

"I'd say we had a great week here I have literally no complaints. The food was great. The room service was great. Our room was always clean even when I had the do not disturb on the Butler would confirm pools were great. I loved the family selection aspect, but we did spend most of our time at the colonial pool. The Butler service is amazing. I would do family selection just to have the but again they booked everything for me anytime I had any questions that would respond immediately. This is my first time in Mexico and I would say this was probably the best resort I've been to."

"We had such a wonderful stay at Catalonia Royal Tulum. What truly makes this resort special is the staff — every single person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it made all the difference in our experience. One of our favorite parts was the jungle pathway that winds through the property. Walking to breakfast or the beach each day felt like a little adventure — spotting coatis, iguanas, and other wildlife along the way was such a unique and magical touch. It really sets this resort apart from others. The beach is absolutely gorgeous — soft white sand, beautiful turquoise water, and plenty of space to relax. It’s exactly what you picture when you think of a Caribbean escape. The facilities were consistently clean and very comfortable. Our room was well-maintained, the common areas were spotless, and everything felt well cared for. If you’re looking for a relaxed adults-only getaway with incredible staff, a stunning beach, and a beautiful natural setting, this is a fantastic choice. We would absolutely return."
