We loved our stay here, such a reasonably priced hotel with big spacious room and clean facilities. Just round the corner from all the lovely bars and eateries. Would definitely return!

Elements is a very nice hotel!! Staff was very nice! Only downside, the bed had brown stains and hair when we checked in and weirdest thing… they don’t have spare sheets or bedcovers… I even went to the maintenance closet with the front desk guy, there was nothing!! But hey…. It’s Mexico! General cleanliness of the property is so so, but you need to take in consideration that it is a very cheap, hotel an open building! Compared to prices of other property around, I would say that it is a very good deal! Walkable distance to good restaurants and bars, be sure to try the fish n chips stand next door, Pepa Pez! Amazing food and great service! If it weren’t for the dirty bedding and the upsetting fact that they don’t have spares (which makes me wonder if they wash the sheets at all), I would have given a 5 star review! Don’t refrain to go there though, as it is one of the best deals downtown!

Hotel rooms were really modern and spacious and the bed was amazing. We really loved our room. We had a small shaded terrace. There was a small pool with a few chairs but hotel generally is very shady. There was a lot of rain while we were there so we didn’t sit outside and enjoy it. Staff were helpful but a couple of requests about things in the room (no handsoap/new lightbulb needed) went unheeded. There was water available in reception and a fridge in the room. The hotel was a good price and I would stay again. Be aware that they take a card deposit on arrival which is pending on your account till they check your room on check out. It takes quite a while for it to be recredited.

My boyfriend & I stayed here one night because we came to Tulum for afterlife in Zamna. The rooms were nice & clean, staff was very nice. They also provided us with a taxi to get to & from Zamna. Would definitely stay here again when we come back!

Great location, walking distance to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, etc. A little bit far from the beach, but a cheap tide by taxi or a good ride by bike. Please don't miss the "PAPA PEZ" Fish and Chips stand right beside the entrance of the hotel. You won't be disappointed, it's the best Fish and Chips you will ever try.

Disappointing
I paid 50% extra for upgrade & didn't get a bigger balcony on 1st floor No elavator to haul luggage up staircases. Room was very old. Bathroom, air condition, TV were all subpar. I would like to see the 50% extra i paid refunded at least. It was more than Hilton & Aloft down the street charges.

The women at the front desk was very courteous and allowed us to check in early. The hotel itself is very charming with balconies that open onto a closed interior courtyard. Price was very reasonable. Guests were quiet and respectful of others. Recommended.

Will stay here again. Convenient and well managed. Rooms are good sized, cable TV and comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful desk staff. Only about five parking spots so be prepared.

We stayed at Elements for 7 days and had an amazing experience. Not having an elevator was a bit of an inconvenience, but aside from that, everything and everyone at Elements was outstanding. Not only will we stay here again, but we will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

The rooms are clean and has air conditioning. They are well designed and comfortable. Wi-fi is good and staff was helpful. The shampoo/soap was a bit on the cheaper side so I would suggest bringing your own. Also there are no elevators and the hallways are open meaning you will see bugs. However the rooms themselves do not have bugs. Overall it’s a great stay for the money you spend so I would definitely recommend!

Almost perfect but for 1 thing.....
Fantastic hotel having the best shower if anywhere we have stayed during our 16 weeks journey through central America The room was huge, great A)C, bottled water included plus a fridge with a free large bottle to top up in reception Well located just a 5 mins walk to the main Street full of restaurants & shops. Definitely recommend although I must say the email they sent on booking made us consider to cancel - the wording is awful & really needs to be revised.......it was a fine for this, a fine for that & just carried on in that manner & as I say, we nearly cancelled.

I loved the room, the bed was comfort, A/C was perfect for the room size, and it was spotless. when I arrived the TV signal was not connecting and it took a day for someone to fix it. The staff was great, answered whatever questions I had and actually remembered my name. Breakfast is a limited selection but good enough for me. I was a little disappointed one day I wanted to use a bike and there were plenty locked up but I was told there were none available. I'm guessing they either lost the keys or other guests were holding on to them. They did however point me in the direction of a bike rental place at the corner which was the same cost as theirs (plan on paying a deposit or letting them hold on to your Passport if you use this place). If I could change anything about the property it would be to swap out the pool lounges for ones that adjust to lay flat. It's also important to know that because of the design of the building there is limited sunlight so you almost have to chase the sun if you want to tan. & note that you'll only get good sunlight from about 9am to maybe 2 pm.

The hotel is adorable and well designed. The pictures are a great representation of it in real life. The rooms are spacious and have beautiful details. The staff were all so nice including the night security. There aren’t many parking spots but there is street parking next to the hotel and it was never a problem. We had our room turned over every day and it was always left clean, smelling great and AC on when we arrived! We only had breakfast there one morning and it was extremely limited but tasty. The hotel is far from the Tulum Hotel Zone, where the fancy restaurants, clubs, and beach is. You really do need to drive (car, bike or motorcycle) it would take a longggg time walking. Around the hotel however, there are places to eat shopping etc. We were happy we got an SUV as the roads are bad, they have large potholes that fill with water when it rains. Overall our stay at ELEMENTS was enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone!
