"Lovely and clean, only downside was that room was quite cold even with heater on and sound on the TV was a bit blown. Other than that all good and would stay again"

"Offered a cold bottle of water for the room as I checked in which I thought was a lovely touch. Air conditioning in room which was well needed in the heat wave! Very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely and clean room. Basic but had everything I needed for 1 night. Beautiful location, wish I’d had more time to explore the grounds."

Very pleasant one night stay. The walk into town is very short but the hill is quite steep. We ended up taking taxis back from the town, but they weren't expensive.

The hotel was beautiful, walking distance to everything (up hill from the town). The staff were very inviting and helpful, and the whole experience lovely.

Very often in the UK and always try to find such places to stay. This to try to get some of the home feeling in the British way. Not always succesful but this time I must say I got it right.
Lovely room, small bathroom (but that is part of the package for these type of accomodations)confi sleep bed and pillows Super lovely breakfast. Caution if you will sleep with open windows you will be awaken by the birds:)

Lovely hotel and gardens with nice spa area. Room was clean and very comfortable. Very expensive hotel and you pay for the beauty and comforts but dismayed to then be charged for a bowl of nuts in the bar and for the breakfast. The continental breakfast buffet was lovely but the cooked breakfast was odd for such a good hotel. A very limp colorless omlette and pancakes an inch thick with very uncrispy bacon.
