Residencial Bavaro Punta Cana Adventure Holidays

First of all the RIU is an absolutely amazing stay. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, clean and the staff is top tier. The pools are always clean, the beach is stunning, swim up bars were so much fun, and the staff truly makes the place what it is. Rafiel the bartender at the swim up bar was our favorite, there were so many other staff that was just lovely. The only reason it got 4 stars I would say is the food. It needs actual Dominican food there. The American country restaurant was disgusting. The buffet had something for everyone the food was better but all in all it needs a spot that has authentic Dominican food with flavor. I went to DR with my family I want Dominican food too.

All my needs and wants were met. The staff and resort were perfect. I highly recommend a stay at this resort.

Everything was Great!

The room in building 8 2nd floor has a mildew smell by the bed. The bathroom at night had a sewage smell. Had to wait 6 hrs for bottled water. The language barrier was also a problem. Room service meals after breakfast is horrible. Maid service came one afternoon before we left to go out, and when we returned later that afternoon, we noticed the came again while we were gone. Upon checkout I mentioned a few issues, and was given a document for a free upgrade on the next booking. Needless to say I won’t be returning. For the cost paid it wasn’t worth the time or money. They really need to deal with the mildew/mold.

Room was nice and clean however the food was so so especially at Toro restaurant I received a steak dinner that I did not touch it looked like it was cooked and set aside then microwaved. Staff friendly had a good time with Hector at the guitar pool. I believe a better look at the food and drink area need to be looked at a little better.
