Really friendly and accommodating staff who had clearly read that I have mobility issues and had allocated the room accordingly. Room with sea view was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. All in all a lovely visit, I will certainly book again in the future!

The location is amazing however it can be noisy at nighttime over the weekends but the convenience of being so close to shops, bars and seafront makes up for this. Staff are friendly and hotel is clean. Would stay at the Queen's hotel again.

This hotel matches the surroundings - great sea views but a little faded. I like this and would not have felt comfortable up the road at the Grand where guests are conspicuously wealthy or other generic chain seafront hotels.

We LOVED the location and hotel itself. The staff was beyond welcoming and helpful. The pool and sauna were lovely and we also enjoyed the fitness facility. Our only issue was the noise from the late-night clubbers from a neighbouring establishment that kept us up until about 4 AM both nights with a lot of screaming, yelling and antics. Otherwise, I would definitely return! Thank you hotel staff! <3

Close to everything which was why I chose it. Building is obviously old and the bathroom has seen better days as has some of the furniture, but the room was clean and breakfast was good. Views of the ocean are great!

The room was very expensive in relation to what was offered. I was on the top floor which is very drab - bathroom needs upgrading - scratched and dirty tub, very average all round - not sure how they can justify such price. I did not have breakfast but it looked pretty average and it was and additional £25 - on top of the £260 paid for one night single occupancy. Would not recommend

Very tired! Black cracks in sink looks like been there years! Heated towel rail Brocken! Bits falling off tap’s! No fridge, no milks, small beds, tiny bathrooms! Won’t be staying again! Fire alarm 4am couldn’t wait to leave!

The tower room is great, beautiful views, but, poorly maintained, with torn, patched up carpet only one chair, no opening windows just air conditioning. No information at all on the facilities in the hotel or surrounding area. The food available was good but not a lot of choice. Most of the furniture was worn. There was a loading/unloading bay outside the front door with a 10 to 15 minute allowed, however, it was mainly full with long term parkers which the reception say they have no control over despite giving the long term parkers official permits. On the good side the staff were helpful .

All of the staff, reception, maintenance & housekeeing were all polite, friendly & very efficient. Hotel was chosen because it was close, i.e. within easy walking distance to seafront, all shops & ammenities. The buffet breakfast is possibly one of the best of this type that we have ever had. We would definetly consider staying there again.

Perfect location, walking distance to main attractions. Family room is very spacious and view from the room is fantastic . The hotel is somewhat old and weary, but it is spotless clean and staff are friendly. Parking in the city is quite pricy, but you can’t blame it for such a nice harbour city. As the hotel is at a main road along the beach, it can be a little noisy when traffic passing by during night.
