Disney's Maingate West Hotels

"The main slides and lazy river were closed including the larger slide in the kids area. Phone in room didn’t work. No towels in any room bathrooms. Room was not clean, hair from previous guests on pillow and in bathroom. My son had a live roach in his room. Hallways in our building were carpeted a d smelled like mildew. Our second night there we were woken up not once but twice by the hotel fire alarm going off, people running to evacuate in the middle of the night. No idea what caused it and we were never told. Poor experience."

"We had a great stay! We chose this place because my daughter had a cheerleading competition, and the location was perfect only about 15 minutes from ESPN and within walking distance of the Sunset Walk strip. The place was very spacious and clean. The pool was small but nice and appeared to be well maintained, although we did notice a few pieces of paper and a key card in the pool during our stay. The kitchen was stocked with very useful tools, which made it easy to prepare our own meals. We especially loved that it even had a margarita machine! Each floor also has a balcony, which was a really nice touch. The only thing that would make it even better would be having chairs on the balconies so guests could sit and enjoy the space, although there were chairs available by the pool. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again."
