"the hotel was good but I have issue with the fact that we arrived at 9.00 am and did not get our room until 3.00. I realize rooms have to be cleaned etc but please make accommodation for those international visitors who have travelled all night"

"I stayed at Market Street Hotel and was very happy with the accommodations! The room was clean every time I left and the room was the perfect size. It was easy to walk from place to place in Edinburgh and it was quite central to most of the attractions and other hidden gems. The staff were very friendly and check-in was a breeze. I’ll absolutely stay here again when I return to Edinburgh!"

"A clean and modern hotel within easy reach of Princes Street and many restaurants. Some of the staff were friendly and kind, others appeared disinterested. Having more staff available at reception would improve the experience and reduce queues. The room was spacious and well equipped. Bed was large and comfortable - great nights sleep. Breakfast was ok- hot and cold options available but again could have benefited from more staff to help replenish food and drinks. Overall, it was a comfortable stay."

"great location and clean rooms. it was a little loud at times but that was to be expected with 5 festivals going on that week and this location being a hot spot for younger people to come and drink. that being said, some underage kids tried to sneak in by climbing through the windows and they mistakenly tried entering through the window in our room. in the middle of the night. very scary in the moment but no harm done and the staff apologize when we brought it up."
