"Very clean room and comfortable bed. Location and breakfast good. A/C worked well but leaked. Not the fault of the hotel but the bells from nearby were very loud especially at 4.45am every morning."

"I like the location and the buffet breakfast but other than that I was not happy booking with them the Halong bay tour because I paid extra to be on a private limousine with only 6-9 people and they put us on a tour bus with 20 people. I paid extra to be on a small group of people and when I complained nothing happened. I will definitely go somewhere else next time to book a tour and the hotel stay. The shower is draining slowly, I have to let it drain to open the shower again."

"Ann from the front desk was absolutely amazing. She coordinated our activities and a car service to Sapa. She also helped us order food after room service had closed. She even paid for the delivery and allowed me to pay her in the morning. I cannot express how much I appreciated her wonderful service. I will return because of her dedication to taking care of her guests. 10 stars!!!!!! Hotel is very well cared for. It’s vintage and super clean"

"Hotel Du Lac signature hotel is one of the best hotel we stayed. The staff are very helpful, welcome drinks and a warm towel was given upon check in. Staff assisted us all the time. Transport was booked too. Buffet breakfast food are a mixed of both vietnamese, and western cuisine. The spa services are excellent. Its a must try. We will be back again."

"Very very very happy and friendly staff! We were leaving for 3 nights and coming back and they allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel which was brilliant help. All the staff including Okami & Mia,Cendy really made our stay extra special with how helpful they were. We arrived back late and they allowed us a late check out free of charge which really helped us catch up on much needed sleep. Highly recommend staying here thank you."
