"The hotel is very old and in some respects needs redecoration however we enjoyed a really good stay. The location is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. We both slept very well and breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again"

"Spa was excellent. Loved the variety of steam/sauna rooms and pools. The outdoor pool was great and the indoor one with the glass stained roof was amazing. So chilled and relaxing. The hotel room was very spacious. Staff were friendly. The Darwin’s Bar was cosy and welcoming. We had two cocktails which were very well made. Only let down was the restaurant. If we were to stay again we’d eat somewhere else. "

"Great stay. Lovely room in block across from the main hotel. Comfy beds, tea, coffee and biscuits and complementary water. Lovely free bathroom products. Room 300. Managed to get a parking space in the very tight car park. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely breakfast. Great cocktails. Will come again "
