"The location is very central. Free laundry is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the car park is across the street, so no cover while checking in and out. Restaurant food was high quality and breakfast outstanding. The chef catered for dietary restrictions in a friendly way. "

Friendly, helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Outstanding and spotless spa facilities, including swim up bar, herbal steam room and a salt room meditation. Our food was out of this world with excellent service. Thoroughly recommend."

"We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money for a short few hour stay on route to our destination. It is true to say the hotel was full of charcter and one could easily imagine how beautiful it was in its heyday.... however time has clearly taken its toll. It seemed to have a variety of characters staying there..... Certainly one may feel vulnerable in the sirrounding area.... but the car park was close and included in the cost of the room. We have no complaints whatsoever. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY"
