It happened to coincide with the London Underground strike, and I was unsure how to reach my destination. I asked the porter, Aleksandor, for help. My English isn’t very fluent, but he was incredibly patient and kind—he clearly explained the directions and how to navigate the situation. He even helped me refill my water bottle, which I truly appreciated. At check-in, I was warmly welcomed by Karca, who was polite and friendly, making the arrival process smooth and pleasant. I also loved the red water bottle provided in the room with “London” printed on it—it was both practical and a lovely keepsake. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel’s location made it so easy to reach major attractions.
