"Pleasant - except very poor childs bed and bedding"
Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff are well trained and very helpful and friendly. The only down points is the location from a public transport point of view if you need to quickly get to the centre- but the upside is the quiet and beautiful location. The child's cotbed was really basic and poor as was the bedding - NOT good!! Restaurants near by are VERY expensive, overrated and just a rip off, the restaurant at the hotel is good.
We had a fantastic stay at the Belgraves and really couldn't fault anything. It was our wedding anniversary and we found that we had been upgraded & were given a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room. The room was a good size and was very stylishly decorated - as is the whole hotel. The staff were first class, very polite & friendly. We had some drinks out on the terrace which was nice and quiet & relaxing - well needed after a busy day. We also had a great breakfast in the morning - the eggs Benidict was really good.
The hotel is well situated for some great shopping and also short walk from the Tube.
We would definitely return.

I booked 4 rooms for me and my friends, but only one was ready when they arrived. By 2PM the hotel had got 3 ready, and after speaking to the manager, the last room was found. We were satisfied that the hotel did its best to help us.
The hotel is nicely situated near South Kensington tube, and a short walk to the King's Road, on a fairly quiet street. The deluxe room was large, but the standard rooms were quite small.

It was like walking into an old home. Very nice atmosphere. The staff were very helpful. No mini bar or iron/ironing board in the room. Few plugs for phone/computer/iPad, etc. Off the main road but felt safe. Very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom amenities. Needed a few things repaired and done immediately.
