"Really great stay at the Gainsborough. Spacious, clean, quiet, well-appointed single room. Helpful staff. The only negatives - the room was grey and charmless. The door of the en-suite was fitted so that you had to access the toilet by getting into the shower. Entertaining!"

"This is one of those historic old properties that is charming because it is one of those historic old properties. Our room was tiny but immaculately clean. The continental breakfast was excellent and the front desk person went out of his way to be helpful. "

"The Brompton is not the Ritz. For the prices they charge, everything is excellent. Location is excellent for access to transport (tube, especially). Good cafes and restaurants right outside door. No, they don't have a lift. Partly explains price. No public rooms. Sheets are clean, fixtures work. I use it regularly."

"Never stayed at this hotel before but it literally on the doorstep of Earls Court tube station. Clean, tidy and a really nice touch with Dove shower gel, shampoo and hand wash in the bathroom. Reception staff were polite and very helpful. I arrived at 1pm and my room was ready so I could drop my bag and go into the City. Would defo stay again. "

"It was a very clean and nice hotel. Located in a nice area and Very close to tube station. I also loved the garden as well. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom looks renovated and very nice. The only thing is; our room was below the ground floor because we needed a room for 5 people, we could hear the underground trains but it wasn’t so bad because we were already very tired and fell asleep :) Overall it was a very good value for money.
