"I celebrated my 40th birthday over a three day weekend. I stayed with my parents and we had the most wonderful weekend. The rooms were beautiful with incredibly comfortable beds - the mattress was amazing! Every amenity was provided and done to an incredible standard. We started the weekend with the science afternoon tea which was imaginative, beautiful and incredibly tasty. Having had afternoon tea at many of the big five star hotels in London this not only stands up, it surpasses many of them! The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. I had ordered a cake from a local bakery for a family brunch later on the Sunday and following a mixup, we had had to make alternative arrangements and the hotel were happy to keep the cake in their fridge overnight- so helpful! Overall, I could not recommend this hotel more highly for both comfort and overall experience. I can’t wait to go back!"
