Clean and centrally located. < 5 minutes walk from Lime Street Station and 15 to Albert Docks. Staff was super friendly. Minor issues- there is a nightclub right next door, so if you are a light sleeper, beware. The shower door would not fully close and I just lived with it because I was afraid I would break it if I pulled on it too hard 😀

Brownlows Inn Liverpool
Great comfortable bed, lots of towels and spot on cleanliness. Friendly staff. Close enough to Lime Street Station and other attractions.

We stayed here for one night on 15th Dec 2023. The hotel is great for the price and the room was spacious. The only thing we found tough was that the bathroom was too tiny. The washing basin is really tiny and the water heater was not functioning well.

A cheap and basic hotel in the heart of the city centre! Tiny basic comfortable room. Rebecca at the front desk was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and polite!

Dodgy electrical sockets, lack of pillows and towels, kettle had to placed on floor to use it. Room was booked for 3 but only had condiments for 2. Flooring in halls had gaps between the laminate panels. Very noisy residents.

We were not impressed the room was like a box , bleach hit you straight away , asked for refunded , policy is to go through you or email the hotels boss , so asked could we change room , and had to pay a further £90 , SO £117 .50 plus £90 , for smell of bleach , nowhere to put anything in bathroom , no side tables , have stayed in liverpool , quite a lot , , very disappointed with all of basic rooms , dont think we stay there again .

Hi Dot,Cleanliness is of the highest priority at Brownlows Inn and we pride ourselves on our high standards.For guest to be unhappy about a cleanliness smell is an issue we would’ve never thought we would encounter.You were upgraded to an executive room hence the increase in price as you originally booked an economy style room however both offering amazing value for money.

Disapointing
Disappointing, Have stayed here before so wasn't expecting a poor stay but this wasn't good, The room was dirty, tatty, broken window glass, it was very very noisy, The bed was tiny and worn out. No drinking water in the room. Will stay somewhere else next time

Smallest room ever, without a proper mirror, everything looked scruffy. Part of the room got flooded in the middle of the night (from the bathroom? A room above? No idea!) Once I cleaned it, it didn’t flood again. The area outside is not the most pleasant in the evening, very loud and you can hear everything in your room. Part of the window was broken - it looked like smashed from outside (single glazing still remaining). The bed was ok though and people at the reception were nice. Located centrally so easy to walk everywhere.

weekend stay
staff were very helpful and polite,rooms(stayed 2 nights in seperate rooms) were very clean,very small but comfortable.room i had for my second night however,had no signal which made tv impossible.after leaving an item in my room after my first night,the staff were very helpful and efficient in getting the item back for me.all in all,a pleasant stay,have stayed here before,and will again in future,no doubt.🙂

Overall ok but quite expensive for what it is.
Used it for a stag party weekend. I mean the room size was ok but to have the room kettle on the window seemed dangerous. There was stains in the toilet when we arrived so clearly not cleaned very well. The bedding was very/heavy and weighted, which wasn’t needed when it was so warm outside and inside the room. No air con and the windows didn’t open wide so no air flow coming in. We stayed in room 4 and you need a masters to find it,….. expect to find a maze of corridors. I think we paid £149, which don’t get me wrong it was cheaper than the big chains but still expensive for what it is. Probably wouldn’t use it again if I’m honest.

Great budget accommodation.
This was my third time of staying at Brownlows and it was o.k. Had a problem with the t.v. which the receptionist tried to resolve. I could only get I Player! A small chair in the room would have helped but otherwise all was good. Great being able to leave my luggage for a few hours after I checked out...

The Inn is very central and the staff were very friendly but I wouldn't recommend it. The room was tiny & claustrophobic. There is no lift. There is A Lot of noise from outside so it's hard to get any sleep.

Rooms looks bigger in the picture but actually they are not. Night staff is not helpful at all. I asked him where is Liverpool Cathedral and he said I don’t know use the Google map. He does not smile at all. When we asked iron and ironing board he said I have iron but I don’t know where is ironing board. I can give you iron only. The day receptionist was extremely nice and helpful.

Been with friends now a couple of times. Great value for money. Especially in the heart of Liverpool, a stone throw away from the station. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much bother for them. Would definitely recommend here. Thank you so much again for the hospitality x

The place is about a night club. No hot water first morning second morning no water at all.nothing worked .one staff told us it not there fault and at least you can go to the other floor to get a shower.
