Lovely rooms & excellent/ helpful staff. No on site parking but conveniently close & reasonably priced with the discount. No catering facilities but close to good places for breakfasts. Very close to huge bars, some reviewers have complained about the noise. I heard nothing & I was only on the 2nd floor

We LOVED this place! It was beautifully refurbished, clean, had all the conveniences we wanted (fridge, microwave, etc), good wifi included in the price, fantastic location, easy walking distance to everything (Docklands, Cavern district), tons of great pubs and restaurants nearby.....would absolutely return in a minute..and somebody give that reception staff a raise! They were delightful and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. Fabulous place@

Highly recommend the resident at Liverpool. Ideal location which is walking distance to many restaurants as well as the docks. Staff were very helpful throughout our stay and even upgrading our room free of charge after mentioning it’s our anniversary. Will definitely be staying here again.

Maria and her staff were brilliant. They were warm and personable all the time. Maria even decorated our room for my birthday. We will recommend The Resident to anyone going to Liverpool. Wish their Glasgow hotel had been in place for our visit there.

I was in their smallest room but it was perfectly adequate for me. I particularly loved the bijou kitchenette, beautifully equipped and always kept spotless. If I were to be picky, the shower tray was somewhat chipped, and there were trainer prints in it when I arrived but they washed away. The shower itself was superb. All in all a good experience.

This hotel is in a good location. There are bars and nightclubs nearby, but the hotel itself was secure and quiet. My room was on the top floor and was priced as a single room, even though it had a double bed and was of ample size. There were Molton Brown toiletries in the large bathroom, which had a solid door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. The room also was equipped with a pocket kitchen which was very useful. The hotel and my room seemed either brand new or recently renovated and it was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed my stay. I would stay again in a heartbeat, especially if I were planning to shop!

Very quiet at this hotel and extremely well cleaned. Fridge, microwave and Nespresso were an exceptional bonus. Bed was comfortable. Just round the corner from hustle and bustle of shops, cafes, bars etc the Resident Hotel retains an air of peace and stillness. Close to Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool Central train stations. Will definitely be heading back to this hotel.

Stayed at The Resident twice with my 12 year old son for a trip to see Liverpool and we really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is great. It is walkable to everything, with great dining options within minutes. The area is a club and bar area but the two rooms we stayed were quiet from outside noise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We did have a night of some rowdy patrons but I don't think you can pin that on the hotel. Staff promptly dealt with the problem. Overall, would recommend staying here.

We had a great time in Liverpool. The staff at the hotel was excellent. They provided us with lots of ideas for places to see in Liverpool and were very helpful with all our needs. The area sround the hotel has lots of pubs and music venues, but the hotel was still quiet at night

The only thing that could make this property better is an actual bar in the lobby area. The staff was wonderful providing beer, wine and a limited menu ... but I simply love a hotel bar!

The hotel is nice with well appointed rooms and the inclusion of a cupboard kitchenette is handy. Staff were friendly and helpful and booking was easy. The location is very convenient for Albert Dock and the museums, Liverpool One and a 20 walk to either cathedral. There are loads of bars and restaurants around the hotel but this is a double edged sword. Great for eating out but it does mean you get to listen to the bass of music and people coming out of the clubs at half two in the morning! Fine if you are a reasonably heavy sleeper or have ear plugs but not one I could recommend for light sleepers.
