Stayed at motel one before and knew it was a safe option for a 1 night stay. So easy to get to from the train station. Staff were efficient and helpful. Room feels a little oppressive but has everything you need. Great stay and will stay again.

This hotel is in an ideal place for everything shopping, restaurants and comedy nights really enjoyed Newcastle. The hotel was great staff were lovely the room was small but adequate for the few days we were there for and the bed was comfortable and a large walk in shower which was great.

Really nice hotel, helpful staff, very well located in the center of the city. Rooms are clean and the facilities were great. Only issue we had was that the room was very hot and we just couldn’t get the room to cool either with the AC or by opening the window even when it was 7 degrees outside. This meant we had a very uncomfortable night.

Everything you’d need from a city centre hotel! Walkable distance from many of the bars/restaurants. Super quiet inside once off the street. Bar open 24hrs to extend the night too!

Great hotel, would stay again. Only minus is that housekeeping had missed a couple of spots in the bathroom. They would probably put a lot of other people off but I was only there for one night and didn’t want to cause a fuss so I just cleaned up myself and kept it moving. Certainly not enough of an issue to give a bad review

Staff were lovely and the location is perfect in the centre of town. Room was very clean and the bar was open until 3am for hotel guests which was amazing after coming in from a late flight. (The only minor thing would be the hotel seemed a little dated (wallpaper/carpeting etc) but was no issue for the stay!)

Right in the heart of Newcastle shoos food bars Felt room was small and bit shabby and set the fire alarm ifc with my hairdryer so never attempted to dry my hair again which was a bit of a inconvenience

This hotel is tucked away on a side street that was quiet on a Monday night. It is in easy walking distance of the station, Eldon Square and City Hall. The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking but other than that the room was pleasant with a good shower in the small bathroom.

Hotel staff were very good , however mould was found above shower unit along with shower hose spraying water into lights on ceiling . Bed was comfortable to lie on until the beds started to separate due to them being two singles pushed together .

Fantastic position in Newcastle, very close to everything. However very noisy outside, had to have windows open as room too hot at night (or duvet & pillows conducted heat!) but brought earplugs so not too bad re noise, but still too hot. I find hotel rooms always designed for men, so not very "user friendly " if female. Loved the organic tea bags/soap. Extremely good shower & bathroom. Staff all lovely, friendly & polite. Good place to stay & would book again.
