Sunscape Coco Punta Cana - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Overall our experience was great. We were initially supposed to stay on the side where the sunclub members are and were told those rooms were booked out so we were booked on the other side and said we’d receive a voucher for a couple nights free. We’ll be waiting on that since our trip just ended and we’re hoping the resort actually does this. We weren’t told all of the benefits. The best part was probably the nightly shows, their entertainment team is very fun, Chocolate was honestly the best and the dancers are incredible 10/10. Service wasn’t great at restaurants, we stayed for 5 days and each restaurant has a miscommunication between their staff. At sunny side, they brought one entree out for the person I was with, but completely forgot my entree then the waitress came later on asking if we wanted dessert, meanwhile I still haven’t received my entree. The buffets are fine, and probably the best are the coffee spots like coco cafe near the stage, the guy who makes the coffee there at night was simply the best and the most helpful our entire stay. The worst part of the resort is not being able to walk around freely, or even enjoy the beach without getting hounded by vendors. The vendors within the resort that sell wooden objects were nice but we didn’t expect to spend $120 on 4 things but we still did because of the guy saying it would help his family. Certain aspects of the resort feel like they lack organization between the employees, but overall we had a great stay."

"Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin! We spent 6 nights and 7 days there, and it was truly an incredible experience. The food was generally good; not every place was outstanding, but my family's favorite was definitely the Nest buffet. We were fortunate to have Victor assist us throughout our stay; he was always there when we needed something. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and I must mention the spa—it was absolutely a 10/10! My husband and I loved it so much that I returned the next day for a mud bath and some relaxation by the pool. We had a fantastic vacation as a family. One important note: when visiting the Dominican Republic, please remember that it is a developing country. It's essential to be respectful and not feel entitled. The staff works incredibly hard to ensure that everyone has an excellent experience, so kindness goes a long way! Overall, I truly appreciate everything Bavaro did for us; you made our stay unforgettable, and we will definitely be back!"

"My family loved the resort, very nice, clean, and rooms are spacious and beautiful and our butler Jose Miguel was amazing, he helped us with anything we needed at the resort and we were very grateful for it. I would definitely recommend this resort for families or couples there is something for everyone. Night time entertainment was the best, everyday something different and lots of fun activities and dancing even my teenage girls loved it, also restaurants are very good except Italian restaurant but overall delicious food."
