"The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained. There is no lift so be mindful of that if you’re on the top floor. It is a basic stay but this suited our needs well enough and you aren’t far from the centre of Manchester. All in all, we would come back if the opportunity arose again."

"Clean room basic room. Breakfast was basic no fry up or full English. Still happy with my boiled egg and toast and coffee and orange juice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Toilet was a tight squeeze. Can’t take shower hose off shower only disappointing thing. The shower but still got to have a shower just can’t hold it in hand."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful from arrival to check out. The hotel has a lovely vibe and the bar is well stocked and has some great offers. There has been a lot of thought gone into the decor and layout of rooms and the murals and room names were a timely reminder of the city’s history. There were a few niggles, the clock in the room wasn’t working, there was dust and cobwebs around the bed, the WiFi on the TV wasn’t great and the pillows weren’t at all comfortable. Sleep was distributed by noise but was to be expected in a city centre hotel. Overall the hotel was great value for money with breakfast included and perfectly placed for shopping and arena, we would come back again."
