"We booked this hotel because of its convenient location to the tube, theatre, and good places to eat that meant we didn’t have to stay right in the centre. It’s officially a four star hotel, and seemed to be well worth that class. Reception staff were helpful, rooms were spacious and well equipped, and the food and drink offer is good and not overpriced. Cocktail menu is extensive. Breakfast was a buffet option which was comprehensive, with everything you’d expect. The complimentary bar is limited to crisps, water and sweets in the standard and deluxe rooms. The upgraded rooms have other soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. I did have to ‘negotiate’ the room upgrade, and they’d already allocated us to our booked rooms which suggested they’d already fixed where we were staying. I got two of the four rooms I booked upgraded though, which was a good perk. "
