"Very helpful staff and lovely clean room. The shower head was not the cleanest. You must disinfect a shower at least every quarter and log results (legislative). More often if required. Breakfast could have been more flexible with regards to choice and would have preferred not to have paid extra for certain foods. Overall a lovely stay however."

"What a great facility! The title speaks for itself and delivered as promised. We enjoyed staying in this spacious, historic CASTLE! Now, there are some renovations going on, and they were up front about that during the tour, however, that did not detract from our stay! Bathrooms were updated, which was nice, and our rooms were historic and grand. We walked the grounds and inside explored the rich woodwork, the long halls, and the entirely unique place. Amazing find. Rooms have heating for the cool months and there's a great little pub right around the corner within walking distance. Would highly recommend for a group or a family for a little adventure, which so many floors and halls to roam and imagine what these walls have seen over the centuries! "

"I wouldn't stay again. I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. "
