Our room was comfortable and extremely quiet. It was disappointing there was nowhere to sit as the pictures for a studio with double bed clearly show a simple bench sofa or a chair by the bed. We had a strange useless leather table (if that's what it was?) instead. When asked Reception said studios do not have any seating... The bathroom was very small and in contrast the fridge was enormous!! Nowhere to store groceries other than in the wardrobe! Finally, be aware that the bed is on a wooden platform which has very sharp corners and metal angled legs. The whole thing is a trip hazard if you are not 21 anymore. We stay in many apartments or hotels and this is an expensive option, purely for its position on the Royal Mile.
