"Beautiful property and location. Historic building (which you can clearly see with the difference in floor levels on the ground floor) but completely modernized guest rooms. Really stunning area to walk around but as it is on a hill, most routes require you to walk back up. Near Richmond Park nature preserve but I preferred to go towards the Thames. Only drawback is location is not easily accessible to public transportation and I had a guest room on the ground floor which is right next to a car...

"It was a bit of a shame that both the lifts were out of order, but the staff were able to accompany guests through to a service lift which was fine. It dis raise a question about the general maintenance programme though."
