"I can’t imagine finding a more iconic, historic cottage on its own private piece of paradise anywhere else in Ireland! If you love character, authenticity, the sea, & a peaceful, private setting, this is the place for you!Our adult children loved it as well & we were able to take the DART (the easiest way!) into Dublin a couple times during our week’s stay to enjoy city life & see the sights. Other days/nights were spent making a couple dinners, playing euchre or cribbage by the fire, laughing...

"This beautiful farmhouse has been meticulously restored by Trudy with furnishings true to its original era. The land surrounding the farmhouse was absolutely gorgeous, and the property is well located for many tourist activities. Sheep were out wandering on the road, and it is truly idyllic. "Although this home is about 15 minutes from the town of Killarney, the Irish farm experience is what we were looking for- & this home delivered. The house was clean & large enough for our party of 7 adults. My only recommendation to the owner would be to replace or add bed pillows & to include more towels (at least 1 bath towel per person). An outside table & chairs would have enhanced the experience. The patio overlooking the farm was really nice, but there was nothing to sit on out there....

"Maginstown house is perfect for large family groups. It is beautifully quiet and yet in easy reach of lots of interesting towns, cities and countryside. The house is brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need, including of basic kitchen staples. Nicholas is an excellent, thoughtful host for whom nothing is too much trouble. A gem of a place! "

"The staff was so friendly & helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good and our bartender Andrew was spot on. We asked him for recommendations of other places to eat for lunch & it was very good. The Grafton is soooo close to everything. All major attractions are within 10 mins walk. The Shopping District is so close & has all kinds of stores, pubs, restaurants etc. Guinness was a bit further but cheap taxi fare. Rooms were spacious, had A/C which isn’t always the case in Ireland. Loved the lobby to sit. I highly recommend The Grafton "
