"I was extremely apprehensive about our stay last night due to seeing quite a few recent very negative reviews regarding cleanliness of the rooms and bed linen and the attitude of the reception staff. I did email the Hotel regarding the reviews and they did reply by return assuring us of a welcome stay. Ok, on arrival the staff were very friendly and attentive, and we stayed in a deluxe premium room which i must say was spacious and very clean… We would like to thank the Hotel for a very enjoyable nights stay. "

"Great experience. Its a smaller Hotel, but lacks nothing. Wonderful rooms, helpful and friendly staff, great location with South Kensington Tube station within 2 minutes reach. V&A, Natural History museum, science museum, Hyde Park are all nearby. We really enjoyedthe Ampersam. Thank you!"

"Breakfast was not that tasty. Over priced for the quality of food you get as was dinner. But the room was nice. Bed was really comfortable. Staff was very friendly. And the location of hotel to public transportation and restaurants was good as well. "

"Fantastic location- Friendly staffs , interior facilities good. I would recommend it had room service intercom- to be able to call for assistance when required. I couldn’t increase or decrease the Thermostat, my room was too hot at night. Other than that I loved the stay. "

"This hotel is alongside a railway line. If you are happy being woken at 05.30hrs and listening to trains rumble past then you will be delighted with your stay. The shower was tepid. Staff were polite, friendly and correct at all times. Please note that the word “travellers” features 2xL"

"Our family stay at Residence Inn by Marriot Kensington, London May 8-12, 2026 was a wonderful experience. The staff and service are Outstanding! attentive, professional, polite, helpful and truly service-oriented. Rooms & facilities are very good. The Tesco supermarket is 3 minutes walking distance - it's super convenient & perfect for groceries, desserts etc. Earls court underground station is a 10 minute walk. One of the best 'value for money' properties we've enjoyed in a long time. A very special appreciation for Manager, Laust Anderson and hotel staff Joseph for making our stay truly memorable as well as to front desk staff Saif, Matin and Bianca. Looking forward to staying at this property again when visiting London. "
