"The Flamingo was a decent choice for the short time frame we were staying. We got a good price for the room that I thought was more updated than it was seeing it in person. It was not as updated as the pictures showed. The carpet was worn, the bathroom needed some repairs and paint, there was no bathroom fan to alleviate everything getting damp from a shower, and though the shower had some of the best water pressure I've ever experienced at a hotel, the shower head dripped constantly on the metal drain. I also am not a big fan of half doors for showers as water gets everywhere. There are good places to eat inside and right outside the hotel. The LINQ High Roller happy hour is right out back by the restaurants so a very short easy walk to get there and a great time! Check in was easy on the app and you can also select late check out at that time. Check out was the same way. All in all, The Flamingo was not a bad place for a short trip."
