"I was hesitant to stay at the property because of some of the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the most basic room there is, but I found it roomy, modern, and bright. I love the layout of the bathroom, it feels very open and spacious. There was both a tub and shower. I only used the shower and liked that the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were on the wall in the shower. When I called houseekeeping for extra towels, they brought it in like 4 min. Very impressive. I love the location of this hotel, I think that's one of the biggest advantages. Its centre strip and attached to Miracle Mile Shops - so lots of stores to peruse and lots of fast food and sit down restaurants. I discovered Earl of Sandwich on my last day, it's right on the edge of the PH casino. It was really fresh and reasonably priced - I wish I had eaten there the entire trip. I'd skip Cafe Hollywood - tiny portions, not fresh/tasty, and super overpriced. There's 2 starbucks - one in the lobby and one in the casino, which is convenient and the employees there were efficient and friendly. At checkout, the employee extended our checkout to noon for free, which I appreciated. The guy who helps get you a taxi was super friendly. The bell boys that store your luggage are ok - I'm not into people outright asking for tips like they did to me - but I get it, it's Vegas. I didn't really use any of the amenities, like the pool or fitness centre, so cannot comment about that."
