I liked the owner and the people, breakfast was good, there was a good fish and chips spot nearby. Was in walking distance of a tesco. Rooms were fairly clean, got pretty hot at night though. Overall I would give it an 8/10

Such a wonderful time! David, Kanley, and Oliver made me feel very welcome. Great breakfast, cozy room, clean and comfortable bed, great location access via public transit/walking to the rest of London.

Well what can i say about our hosts........absolutely wonderful. Kanley and David made us feel more like friends than guests lots of laughs and such a warm welcome. Breakfast was cooked exactly as you want it and very gooood. I will definitely be staying here again xxx😁😁😁

I was there for 3 nights- just a quick trip to London. The directions they gave to get from Heathrow to the property via the Underground were perfect. Room was clean, breakfast was good and plentiful and the staff were friendly and nice to talk to.

La ubicación fue lo mejor, esta a 5-6 minutos caminando del metro o la parada de autobuses. Por supuesto regresaría al lugar, de hecho lo usamos solo para dormir pues anduvimos fuera todos los días.

We had a great time at this lovely and cozy home. It's in a really great location and I would definitely stay again. Kanely is so hard working to make sure this lovely home runs like a 5 star hotel.

Easy to find in a residential area close to public transport. Warm welcome, my room was in the basement so some noise from above but not an issue. warm with an opening window. clean, comfy bed, very small bathroom. Tv, fridge with some chargeable drinks, free tea and coffee. Hairdryer safe. Given keys for room and front door on arrival. Full English breakfast cooked to order. Felt very safe as a lone traveller.

So glad I found this place!
Really great stay at this bed and breakfast. The location was great, very close to everything, and super close to the underground and the bus station. The breakfast and the service was fabulous!! I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our two-night stay. The hosts were wonderful and we had an amazing breakfast each day. The train was very nearby and a great food hall was just a short walk.

I stayed at the 69thegrove Sep 12 and 13 in room 7. There was no safe in the room. My airpods and wire were stolen out of my suitcase as I no longer have them in my bag. I left them and my passport there because I didn’t want to carry them with me in town. I would recommend you find a hotel that has a safe to secure your belongings. Not impressed at all.

Cute area close to train and bus stations but lacking on all other counts. Check in was chaotic and the staff seemed confused about what room to put us in. It took some time to get settled. The rooms are neat but not clean. Towels and sheets that were once white are grey. The towels have a heavy fragrance of softener or something and are almost greasy feeling. The bathroom was so small. I understand this is London but I am a small woman and could not get dressed in there. You have to shower, back out of the room, and dress in the bed area. No a/c but it was a cool couple of days so the fan that was provided sufficed. We had originally scheduled another three day stay here on the return leg of our trip but cancelled that reservation. We won't be going back there or recommending it to friends. Stay somewhere else.

The hosts are nice, but the smells of perfume-y laundry detergent, fabric softener, and scented candles permeated the air, sheets, towels in a nearly suffocating way. I've traveled the world and smelled a lot of things; but this was so strong, I could not relax till I checked out. (They were nice and agreed unscented may be better: thank you.)

Awesome hospitality
Kanley is probably the most enthusiastic host you will find! Breakfast service was exceptional, and our room was comfortable. The bathroom is quite small as previously mentioned, we had no problem but it may be a concern for others. It’s just a short walk to the underground, or you can walk along the river to reach the Westminster attractions. Overall a very good value.

What a gem of a place! Situated 5 mins walk from Vauxhall station, we received a very warm welcome when we arrived. The room was spacious with plenty of storage. The en-suite was small but adequate . All very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, providing freshly made fruit salad and a generous full breakfast. Kanley and David are superb hosts and they run a very happy team who looked after us very well. Thanks everyone, we will definitely be back!

Excellent BnB - Would recommend!
The hosts are very warm, welcoming and can cook a good breakfast. Everything was well prepared and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Everyone was friendly which created a great and comfortable atmosphere. My room was clean and cosy which made the stay all the better. The place felt really safe. Easy access to and from other areas via the underground. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying here again.

The owner host is outgoing, the staff is friendly and the price was very reasonable. Like most B and B’s, the space was cramped with narrow stairs. Linens were tired and grey, especially the towels. Good toiletries and fresh milk in fridge for tea and instant coffee.

Our Host was Terrific as well as all staff who were incredibly accommodating. Our room was very quiet & provided a Very comfortable bed which we needed at the end of long days walking. The breakfast that was provided each morning could set you up for a full day's worth of freshly cooked English Breakfast & fresh cut fruit! Coffee/ Tea ... there was always more than enough to fill us with delicious foods & friendly conversations with other Guests. Thank you to 69TheGrove for making our trip so comfortable!

I stayed here for three nights in June, 2023. The hosts were very helpful and allowed me to check in early, having come from an overnight flight. The location is not the easiest to find on foot but once you do, it's a great spot, very close to the Vauxhall train/tube station. The breakfast provided was good and everyone was very friendly. Room and bath were small but clean. The only drawback was the lack of a/c, but this is common in London unless you are in a commercial hotel. There was a window that I could open and a fan which circulated air, so after the heat of the day it was fine. I would stay here again!

Very clean, handy to transport n dining areas. Breakfast was incredible n service. The only down side was the flight of stairs to which we didn’t know as we are in our 50-64 yrs young 😂 . I guess we should’ve ask for a “NO STAIRS” as some of our quest had n to make up for that scrumptious breakfast.

I was travelling alone and wanted to stay near the tube. 69TheGrove is a quick walk from Vauxhall station, mostly on main road so I felt safe returning there at night. The hosts are lovely and were very attentive at breakfast, my room was spacious and clean.

Very disappointed that I had to shorten my stay to only one night. While I understood the hotel policy of a minimum of 2 nights, It made my one night stay quite expensive. I had to return home early due to a medical issue. Otherwise, I enjoyed the room and stay.
