Although the property had a very nice location and the housekeeping staff was very friendly, I would not be staying here again. The rooms did not have AC and being there during a heatwave was not desirable. The shower head mount was broken so we had to hold the head to shower and there was a hole in the shower around the light which allowed me to see right into the room above me. The check in staff was not the friendliest however they did allow us to check in an hour early. We were able to store our bags on the first day for free which was nice. The description said they can assist with tours, however this consisted of a bulletin board that you could find out information on your own. The close proximity to the Victoria station and local convenience stores was a nice perk.

We were given a room in the basement. Our room was part of a fire hallway so our bathroom was detached from the room and at the end of the hall. The main bed in the room felt like it had been there for years, and the bathroom was disgusting. Mold on the tiles, walls, and door. The vent was packed full of dirt/dust so it did nothing. The shower glass was not wide enough so the water from the shower just spilled out into the main part of the bathroom and flooded the floor. We did not have anyone tend to the room, replace towels, and toiletries in our 4 night stay. We asked twice about it and the reception just seemed confused on why it got skipped. No A/C in the rooms made it tough considering the heat while we were there. Overall not satisfied with the stay, the staff, or the cleanliness. I honestly can not think of a single thing about the hotel we enjoyed

Outstanding neighborhood and convenient access to Victoria Coach Station for a transfer to Heathrow. The only negative was a two foot streak of black mold on the caulking in the shower of C8.

The rooms are extremely tiny. No room for two people to stand at the same time. A big suitcase can not fit in this room. Toilets are so tiny (you can not use the toilet and have the door close at the same time). No AC. Overall cleanness of the room is terrible: The walls are EXTREMELY dirty with marks, bed sheets and towels were not clean. The location is great, but that is the only good thing about this hotel. Bedsprings are horrible.

Very convenient location. Great exterior but interior disappointing, musty smell on entry, carpet that needs replacing, cheap laminate in room, basic cheap furnishings, Walls in need of painting & very stained. Hole in wall where door opens & hits a wall, So much room for improvement, Decent handyman, building & maintenance required. But overall it was ok for one night & staff friendly & helpful.

Worst experience ever, dirty room, loose window banging in wind, black hairs in the bed, toliet flushes in the night, mold on the walls and cupboard, main door to rooms on the hook and random drunk locals walking in an using shared bathroom, bed nothing but springs the list goes on. To make it worst there was noone to complain too other than a person whos job it was not to complain too and then i couldnt get a refund. We left and wenr somewhere else.

Disgraceful to say the least
It was disgraceful to say the least!! It looked nothing like the pictures! The walls were dirty and the room was very claustrophobic!! In the end we had to leave after only being there for less than 20 minutes as we knew we weren’t going to be able to sleep there at all!! We felt very uncomfortable there and will never return!!!!

Worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I requested and paid for a room with two single beds. The room was on the top floor, one single bed and was the size of someone's bathroom. Was the smallest room, no bathroom which was located 3 floors down- just horrible.

Best Stay in London Ever
The best room I've had in London. I just wanted somewhere to crash whilst studying and so just got a small single room. On arrival I was so pleased to find I had been upgraded free of charge. The room was a delight and so private! It allowed me the luxury of being able to access my own bathroom (shared bathrooms can be problematic when you're in a rush in the morning!) Also the room was so clean and the added extras (milk in the fridge etc) really made this room such a pleasure to walk into! Honestly, hand on heart the best room I've stayed in on a budget!

A very bad experience, avoid!
Our room was not as advertised at all and there were many issues with the room/hotel and the staff. The room was advertised as a double room (with a double bed) but it was just two single beds pushed together, and the mattresses and beds were of poor quality, very uncomfortable and sloping inwards. When we arrived, there was a blocking of our room door with a hoover left by the cleaners. The room smelt damp and the walls were marked and dirty. There was no storage space in the room. When we looked out of the bedroom window, the roof just below the windowsill had cigarette butts, beer cans and a used hypodermic needle on it. The bathroom was incredibly small and extremely inconvenient to use. And there was no sink in the bathroom. But there was a kitchen sink in the room by the bed (definitely not shown in any of the hotel listing photos nor mentioned in the listing.) And when we went to complain to the staff at reception, they didn't offer any solutions and were completely disinterested and dismissive. We requested a room change but they told us there were no more rooms available, even though we had previously checked just moments before on hotels.com and there were at least two available other rooms for that night. The photos and description used in the listing for this hotel are very misleading. Would definitely not recommend.

Room was ok, put in the basement in a family room so bunk beds everywhere and advertised and paid for double room. No mirror for hairdryer, apart from that bed was comfy. Wasn’t happy cleaner entered the room hour and half before check out and me and my partner was still in bed, I found this rude as checkout wasn’t until hour and half later!! Ok hotel, Got what paid for!

Hotel was very easy to find and a great location. Really handy room right by reception, but the downside to this was hearing arguments in the middle of the night with someone complaining ! One other downside was the toilet/shower for my room was 2 floors away!

Good location but Room very small , fire safety was misleading: a sign said fire exit on door but was not fire exit, after we complained they removed the sign, no lift do we had to carry heavy luggage up to 4th floor/ very noisy from neighboring room, TV not good (cannot read writing being far from bed)

Very poor....squalor accommodation.
Access is poor. Stepped entrance to reception. Hall and reception cluttered. Stairways cluttered with towel bales and vacs. Safety issue - told manager to keep stairs and escape routes clear at all times. The building is ancient. The rooms are small and partitioned up cheapely, which results in a very noisy, creaky stay. You can unfortunately hear everything across the rooms and stairways. Room quality. We experienced four rooms. All were basic, cramped and the decor damaged / scuffed. Bathroom facilities were poor and evidence of black mould and filth in evidence. We did not use the showers due to the risks. The manager Dom was arrogant, rude and did not listen to sense and did not accept that his approach, his behaviour and ability to run the place efficiently and with the customer in mind. In conclusion: the hotel is the worst dump I have stayed in with the exception of a cockroach invested squalor I stayed in years' ago. Suggestion DO NOT STAY you will regret it.

The hotel was fine for a basic one-night stay. The room I was in was small but had a bed and a shower which was all I really needed for my stay. The reception staff were friendly and check in/check out was quick and simple.

You wont get what you pay for. We booked 8 months in advance and were given a twin room with the beds pushed together yet the booking guarantees a double bed??? Room was moldy and filthy. OYO did not care upon being contacted
