Dublin Southside Golf Holidays

It is a new and well design hotel. But the location is not great, the rooms are very small.

The breakfast was exceptional with so much variety and the hotel is high tech, new and comfortable. We stayed in other hotels on our UK trip and this was our favorite.

We had a great stay in Dublin at The Morgan Hotel, right in the heart of Temple Bar. The rooms were modern and very clean. The hotel had a wonderful breakfast available. Parking was a bit tricky as we had passed the carpark so had to do a big loop around to get back to the entrance. The vibe in Temple Bar is magical. You are close to lots of restaurants, vintage shops, the hop on hop off tour stop, and a fun speakeasy! Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel was great for transport links. Bus stop very close by. Was disappointed that the shower was over the bath. Would of expected a stand alone shower. Breakfast was fine but we didn't see the menu options to order eggs or waffles until the last day as nobody had told us. Only one working lift which means long waiting times at busy times.

This hotel has a lovely lobby and good staff. However, I found the lighting in the room poor (unable to read or work) and I could not adjust the temperature in the shower - its only setting was "scalding".

The Morrison Hotel is perfectly located, at a footbridge just across the river from Temple Bar. Close to all but quieter. The interior is modern and beautifully adorned. Our room was spacious and the bath was large with both a tub and shower, as well as the typical well designed storage and technology features we’ve come to expect from Curio Collection hotels. The best surprise was the restaurant. We arrived later than expected and were hungry. We chose to try it based on a few reviews we read. The food and service was very good, and we are foodies. One little hiccup during checkin occurred but was fixed. We had paid for a river view room on Expedia’s site, but the checkin desk didn’t have that. After searching, the clerk found a river view room for us. So, please be sure amenities you expect are listed on your reservation confirmation to avoid any issues. I actually called Expedia just after booking because it wasn’t shown and was assured it was in “the hotel notes”. We would definitely stay at The Morrison again.
