Really enjoyed this town. Did part of the Burren Way walk and heard beautiful birdsongs and enjoyed the sheep! Nice chat with the owner of a giftshop (nice dry humor). Great coffees and service at the sandwich shop. And enjoyed some beers at Monks!

Good
Great, quiet rural setting which is what we wanted after multiple days in busier areas. There are not a lot of restaurant options in Ballyvaughn or nearby Kinvara, so plan ahead.
"Hotel was awesome. Staff was super helpful and just so nice. Walking distance to downtown. only downside was room was a little to hot they did fix the AC unit the next day."
"I stayed at The Dean for five nights and it is a fantastic hotel. Fun, hip, spotless, well decorated, helpful staff, excellent facilities, and a great location. I love this hotel! "
"A great location and great amenities. There during the horse races so it was very busy. the staff did a great job of making sure things worked efficiently. The proximity to the train and coach stations was a real plus."
"Snug is the key word! Our room was very snug! But we were right in the heart of Galway. Despite staying in such a central area, our room was very quiet. "
