"A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers. The staff were lovely & the continental breakfast varied & suited us well. The rooms are separate "chalets" with allocated parking spaces next to each front door. We were concerned that staying in a pub may be noisy, but had a very peaceful night's sleep! The beds were very comfy & the family room spacious enough for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids (as long as they are happy in bunk beds!) The rooms are very dated & could do with a freshen up. They could also do with a really thorough clean, the corners etc. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay."

"Hadn't realised no onsite parking and had to move the car away from the house so was a bit of a pain with the other vehicles who parked to go walking , lovely little cottage a bit tired in areas but was a perfect getaway spot for some much needed r and r ,there was wifi so we we're able to use our own apps on our telephones to use the tv . The area is absolutely beautiful and the Chapel tearooms over the road was the most amazing afternoon tea I've ever tasted and highly reccomend they so like to have 48hours notice to do but you will not be disappointed. "
