"I had a very quiet night, considering it's right by the motorway! No traffic noise audible at all. Limited choice of breakfast options at the neighbouring service station. "

"Didn't have breakfast. No alcohol available in the bar, general 'tiredness' of the property, especially the bar area and the entrance. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"Recently enjoyed a 2nt stay for a family wedding. The staff are simply the best - across the board from the reception, restaurant team, bar staff, function 'master of ceremony' - even the housekeeping team, could not have been more friendly, professional, helpful, courteous and keen to go above and beyond the make ours and the rest of the guests stay a thoroughly excellent experience. Without being seen or heard, the back of house team knocked it out of the park because their efforts enabled everything to play out seamlessly at front of house - well done all of you! Particular shout out to Katti who looked after us at breakfast and could not have been more helpful. Yes, the rooms are a little dated but were clean, comfortable and gave all the expected facilities (tea/coffee/biscuits etc. TV, hairdryer, iron, very comfortable bed, bath /shower, toiletries & good towels). If you're wanting 5*, spend 3x more and go elsewhere but this place gave everything we could need at a very affordable price. We had an absolute ball and look forward to the next opportunity to stay here again. "

"What a lovely stay we had at The Bears Paw. We were here for a family wedding and the staff, facilities, everything was superb We also stayed over and the bedrooms were lovely, well furnished and clean. The weekend was finished off with a delicious breakfast. Will definitely return! "
