"Wonderful stay. Greeted initially by a friendly face from Louise who was very informative and quick check-in. Slept like a log, very comfortable bed. Great sized room, well-equipped bathroom with a shower that had great pressure. Lovely area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

"We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you quickley. kind regards to all at penny Hedge. "The room was very clean, the bed was really large and comfortable, the receptionist we met on arrival and departure was very kind, friendly and made us feel very welcome, also the domestic team were equally helpful and friendly. We were able to book a late checkout at no extra cost which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely stay again when we visit York. "
