"The Morales is conveniently located just a short walk from the central plaza in Guadalajara, surrounded by a vibrant shopping and dining scene. The streets felt safe to walk even in the late evening. The Morales is a beautiful historical building with a picture worthy lobby and atrium. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with minimum street noise. The breakfast buffet is quite good although there are better options near by. Our only complaint was the concierge and doorman were decidedly unhelpful and seemed concerned with chatting with the security staff rather than helping us find transportation etc. Nevertheless, we recommend the hotel and had a fantastic time in Guadalajara."

"Ocean front room on the 9th floor had an AMAZING view! Room service (all included) was prompt and accurate every time. Maid service came twice a day - once to clean and a second time to turn down the bed and leave chocolates. Lobby bartender made a great gin martini (with Condesa). Enjoyed meals at La Joya, the hibachi grill, and the sushi bar. Hopefully you won't need the hotel doctor on your trip. But we did, and he was outstanding."

"Clean room, bit of maintenance in the bathroom wouldn’t go amiss but it was a nice big room. Bit noisy being opposite 3 nightclubs but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Nice helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings inside. Lovely plants! "

"The room and the bathroom were very clean. It was very convenient to have a quick breakfast at Café Tamayo inside the hotel. The Blue Bar was nice, and we watched the Super Bowl on the two big TV screens. We also had dinner at La Huerta, which was very good. The concierge was very helpful. They were able to arrange a private tour two days before we arrived."
