"Loved the one bedroom option. We didn't use the kitchen but nice to have. Our beach front balcony was incredible. Dated but very clean and well kept. Decor in the room was nice and modern. Staff were quite friendly, especially Moises. He remembered my fav drinks. Beach and pool side service was nice. Food at the buffet was delicious and it was nice to have different lunch/ dinner options. Breakfast was the same everyday but we didn't mind because everything was good. My daughter especially loved the crepes. Shuttle to sister resort was an excellent option. Their buffet was very authentic Mexican and right on the water. Great spot. Water park was great for the kids and the sports bar was nice too. Sushi was not very good and it's too bad there wasn't a lobby bar or espresso bar. Kids got kicked out of the sports bar at 8 so not much to do after that with the kids. Reservations for restaurant seemed very limited and we weren't able to watch the show as it filled up too fast. "

"My family have a membership from Moon Palace Hotels. We have that membership for over 20 years, and we were led to believe that they were the best property on Cancun. This year my daughter wanted to try Riu and we were greatly surprised because we found a better place with a better view, better location, and the price was less than we have been paid this years.
