"Staff was absolutely careless. No one at all at cared to help with any issue I had. There was a handicapped gentleman in the elevator having issues and I told security and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I found a manager who simply listened to me and carried on what she was doing. The phone in my room did not work during my entire stay. I couldn't even use my cell phone to contact the front desk because they use AI. I had to go down to the front desk to ask a question at 3am. I bought a coffee at the shop ON THE PROPERTY and was not allowed to drink it at the pool. I was hit with a sticker fee shock when I was required to put down a $100 PER NIGHT deposit on my room. This was not on the receipt and expedia did not give any warning. I will not visit rio again nor will I use Expedia for any travel plans in the future. "
