I have excellent vacation at this hotel.

If you book swim up on the left side of the property with tropical views, good luck enjoying your swim up while you stare and smell the mounds of hot smelly sea weed in the dumpsters right across from your pool that’s there all day and night. Also there’s unclear rules as to the time to use it your pool. We were kicked out by security around 9 and said we couldn’t use it anymore. We were told different at check in. Food: mediocre, the Italian was the worst. It’s a small resort so you have to make reservations which is also annoying and there aren’t many options. Tacos by the pool steak looked gray and fatty. Staff overall were pleasant except the ones at the swim up that ignored us several times we asked for a drink or said they didn’t have a certain alcohol when it was right in front of us. The waiters around the pool Martin and Julio were great and super attentive they were the main reason we enjoyed the pool especially with not having the beach. They have activities but they were all booked during our stay so we never got to do any of them. The evenings are super boring. There’s no shows no themed nights absolutely nothing going on. They have a silent disco some nights right during dinner hours and it only lasts 1.5 hours so if you booked a later dinner you’re not making it. Also butler service with Cristian was amazing. He constantly checked in with us and was the reason we were able to make reservations to dinner. Overall I would not come back to this resort.

Our stay was wonderful! We had the swim up room which was both private and accessible to the fun. We enjoyed all the restaurants and bars especially Spice and Excellence Club Lounge. Caesar never disappoints for a perfect evening margarita ! This is our second Excellence property. We can’t wait to visit our third this October in the D.R! You won’t regret this choice!

Second time visiting this resort. It’s very clean, the staff is very friendly, and the food was great.
