"This hotel is a treasure. The neighborhood is quiet and relatively open. The hotel itself is elegant and stylish, situated in lovely gardens with covering trees. Some of the rooms are dispersed in clusters around the gardens. Some have access to rooftop terraces. Extremely polite, helpful and courteous staff. "Chosen for location, the property was a bit underwhelming. The apartment I had (268) was spacious but in need of renovation. Having said that, the wifi was good, the reception staff very friendly and for the money, I couldn’t really argue for just 1 night. Aircon was great and breakfast price was very reasonable. Not a great selection but quite typical for Italy. Bathroom was not super clean but ok, although 1 of the towels was dirty so I did not use. On the whole, it was fair value for the...

Rome Historic Centre

Step into ancient history in Rome's Historic Centre, where the mighty Colosseum stands alongside the Roman Forum and Pantheon. Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport

Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport

8/10 Good
"This is not the hotel that is right off the airport terminal but the shuttle does make it easy and convenient when arriving and departing from FCO. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff provided excellent and pleasant service. For the most part, the food at the restaurant was well prepared. The one disappointment was how Hilton chose to cheap out and Americanize the breakfast which we still paid for. It was not a free continental breakfast and I have to say after some really great continental breakfasts throughout our stay in Italy the biggest disappointment was the reconstituted powdered scrambled eggs. Hilton, on this point you need to do better. If Italian hotels and b&bs can do a better continental breakfast, I don't see why you can't either. Fewer options and better quality would not be an issue for us."

"The Hoxton was nice. The only issue we had was that our room had a sewage smell. After the third day I told the staff. They sent someone and tried to say the bathroom needed to be cleaned. Being in construction I knew this was not a cleaning issue. They told me they would move us but could only do it during the mid day hours. This didn't work for us. We just had to deal with it for the next three. I would think they resolved the issue when we left."
