"I cannot even use the word hotel when describing this dump. It is utterly disgusting. Room was filthy, broken facilities, it wouldn't even rate asca hostel. How environmental health haven't closed this place down is unbelievable. It is a risk to health in more ways than one. Whatever you do, avoid this place."

"Room size was smaller than other Mercures that we stayed at. Breakfast was adequate, all premade, but the chocolate croissants and blueberry muffins were delicious! Nice bar area always open.. nice! Coffee maker in room did not work. Complimentary water would have been nice.. "

"I arrived into London on an early flight so went straight to the hotel where I was told my room was ready. Then I was told that if I wanted to check-in I would have to pay an additional £55! I went to work and returned at 4pm and check-in was an absolute disaster - I was passed between 3 different receptionists. I eventually got to my room at 4.45pm. Have been using this hotel for almost 20 years and every year the service level declines which is so disappointing!"
