"This is student accommodation that turns into a bed and breakfast over the summer. For me this meant that I had a private room close to central london for the price of a hostel bed. The building, the rooms, the bathrooms are quite old. However, it didnt really bother me since I was staying there only for one night. It was quite loud at night as its located in a busy area. "Clink78 is currently not operating as a hostel, it’s an office building. I showed up at night after my flight just to find out that there’s no hostel there. They moved me to Clink261, but it was dirty and not what I originally signed up for. You need to pay for towels that you don’t even get to keep."

"This is a bit of a strange place. The picture DO NOT represent the room I had which was in the basement. It was very dated and need of modernisation. Whilst there was a microwave and fridge there was no tea and coffee making and not even a glass or anything for water. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8 yhoug a slightly earlier start was offered at 7.45. I am not sure whether I was a little paranoid or not but it felt as though my comings and going’s were observed as on one occasions I was met at...

"Showers had super high water pressure (good and bad thing haha). The door is hard to open to get into the room because it backs right up to a bed so a bit awkward. But overall, great experience, very social hostel, helpful staff. Super close to Borough Market which is a must. It was sort of loud at night just because the city is noisy. "

"Like many other reviewers, I have to complain about the metal drawers at the bottom of the bunk beds. I thought I'd be ok with it because I usually wear earplugs. But those noises are unavoidable unless you put on shooting ear mufflers. I constantly woke up at night due to that noise and wasn't able to sleep well during my 3 day stay there. Although they offered the cheapest price for a great location, I would have picked a different place where I can at least sleep through the night."

"We were really impressed with the facilities offered at the Bermonds Locke. The room is well equiped for a short or longer stay and provides kitchenette, laundry mashine and even a yoga mat ! Beautiful space. The area is trendy and has a great vibe."

"The room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was large with lots of shelves. Having a washer & dryer was very handy. Hotel was quiet. Location was close to the Tube and restaurants. There’s a cafe in the lobby where you can get excellent espresso drinks & pastries. We would stay there again. "
